Man says cat was killed, vehicle repair charged to stolen credit card

* A garage break-in occurred Monday night in the 400 block of Fair Avenue NW.
* A report is to be sent to the prosecutor about a woman suspected of shoplifting Tuesday at Walmart.
* A resident of Hillcrest Drive NE reported on Wednesday receiving a debit card for which she had not applied. The bank closed the account and started an investigation.

* A stolen credit card was used to pay for repairs at Flynn’s Tire & Auto Service, 885 Commercial Parkway, according to a report filed Tuesday.
* A mountain bike was found Tuesday in the 800 block of the Boulevard.
